HEC Global Learning Centre, based in London, promotes the values, aims and principles of global learning through all areas of education.
Qualified staff work with students and teachers to bring global perspectives and critical thinking into the classroom through work on:
Active Global Citizenship
Sustainable schools and carbon reduction
Children’s rights, participation and school councils
ICT, including digital video, animation and web page development
Online perception mapping with children
Critical thinking and pupil-led enquiry through Philosophy for Children and Open Spaces for Dialogue & Enquiry (OSDE)
School linking - locally, nationally and internationally
We have a collection of materials - print and electronic - on global learning including global maths, mapping, fair trade, water, transport, health, food, ethical fashion and children’s rights.
